Twin Turret, Twin Spindle and Single Turret machines are a well-established part of our capacity at Batorer Precision Engineering. These machines enable us to manufacture a wide range of high-precision parts with fewer set-ups and a reduction in cycle times.
Our Mill Turn CNC machines combine milling and turning into a single operation. Using our multi-axis CNC machines to perform both milling and turning operations on a single rotating workpiece allows cutting tool moves along multiple axes, allowing for complex and precise machining.
Delivery and Cost are key demands of our customers so being able to reduce the number of setups required in a job helps reduces the time and cost of production as well as allowing for more complex geometries to be machined.
The Mill Turn section comprises DOOSAN LYNX, DOOSAN TT1800SY and NAKAMURA AS200 machines with Live Tooling and multi axis machining capabilities.

Sliding Heads
Sliding Heads are ideal for producing small, complex components with high precision and speed -particularly useful for producing components with a small diameter, used in many different areas of engineering projects and OEM products. The Sliding Heads are also capable of performing multiple operations in a single pass, further increasing efficiency, and reducing production time.
Batorer’s range of Star and Citizen machines are the ideal solution for medium to high volume parts up to 32mm diameter. Sizes over that can be accommodated in the Turning section.
Combining the two machining styles within the same machine shop allows for even greater precision, efficiency, and flexibility in manufacturing when producing complex components. By using a Sliding Head to produce a small, complex component and then transferring it to a Mill Turn machine for finishing, we can reduce production time and increase the accuracy of the final product where needed.
All parts are thoroughly cleaned in our Ultrasonic Cleaning Bath prior to dispatch – size permitting.
